| PSU extends full support to Jammu Bar Council | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu July 11- Extending its full support to the Jammu Bar Council for the going popular agitation, the Panthers Students Union (PSU) leader Mohinder Pandu has appealed to the Governor to take necessary steps and respect the sentiments the lakhs of people of Jammu region
He was addressing media persons at the University campus here today.
Describing revocation of land transfer order by the government as unconstitutional, the student leader said the Congress was a minority government when the decision was taken and urged the Governor to take this matter seriously.
Criticizing the PDP and other political parties of en-cashing the sentiments of the public for their petty vote bank politics, Pandu congratulated the JKNPP, who in spite of threats and pressure, stood firmly on its stand to vote against the government on the floor of the house which led to the fall of the Azad government.
Appealing the Jammuties to remain united and fight for their right cause, Pandu assured that PSU shall not allow any educational institution to run if the Governor did not bring back the land to the SASB.
Sushant Gupta, Gagandeep Singh, Billa Bigeshwar and Vikrant were also present at the press conference.
