| Protestors burn Vohra’s effigy; demand his resignation | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu, July 11- Old hospital road and basic school road association led by its president Yudhvir Sethi today burnt the effigy of Governor N N Vohra and held a protest demonstration against the delay in construction of public Chabeel in the JDA parking complex in the area.
Speaking to the protestors Sethi criticized the JDA for the non implementation of its commitment of constructing a chabeel in the area and also took the PDD to task for imposing 15 hours power cut in the city. He said right from the day one when Vohra took over as Governor, 15 hours power cut has been imposed in the city which, he said, speaks of his ‘anti- people approach’. He demanded resignation of Vohra as he has failed to come up to the expectations of the people.
Among others who took part in the demonstration were Kaka Jee Pradhan, Chajji Ram, Kundan Gupta, Dev Gupta, Sardar Comrade, Babu Suri, Parvesh Kumar and Anil Gupta.
