Urban Congress workers hold meet, discuss political situation

To take the stock of prevailing political situation in the state, a meeting of district Congress Committee, Urban, was held at party head quarters which was chaired by vice-president PCC, Th. Hari Singh, while ex. MLA, Om Chopra presided over it.
Speaking on the occasion Chopra emphasized that organization must be revamped and rejuvenated urgently to face the on slaught of opposition parties in the agitation over the transfer of land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.
He said that few political leaders are not in the position to access the ground situation, and added it was a misconception that transfer of land to SASB would disturb the demography of Kashmir.
Hari Singh in his address spelt out future line of action keeping in view the convention of party workers on July 18th.
Besides Kulbhushan Sharma, Parveen Singh, C.L Bhatti, HUssain Baksh also spoke on the political scenario and for strengthening party.
