| Police presents challan against govt. employees | | CJM refers case to sessions Court | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 12 Police today presented a challan in the Court of CJM Jammu against accused Gurpal Singh, a Government employee r/o Ajit Nagar, Gadi Garh Jammu u/s 420, 468, 467, 201, 471, RPC. CJM Jammu YP Bourney, after hearing the CPO MA Manhas, committed the case to the Sessions Court as the offences are exclusively triable by the Sessions Court. The challan was presented in an FIR lodged on the complaint of Charanjeet Singh, claiming to be the trustee of Pir Panchal Education Trust and Sher- i- Kashmir B.ED College, submitted that on December 31, 2003 some blank signed papers were found missing from the office of complainant Goods carrier, which was to be used by office manager. It was alleged in the complaint that while pursuing the case the B.ED College complainant found that some of the missing blank papers was misused by Gurpal Singh s/o Hakam Singh r/o Sher-i-Kashmir College complex Ajit Nagar Gadi-Garh and replaced the complainant from the trustee of the college and appointed father of the accused. The police after registering case started investigation and after completion of the investigation presented challan in the Court of CJM today. JNF |
