| PSWA appeals people to maintain communal harmony, peace | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 12 The members of all J&K public social welfare association (PSWA) have appealed people of the state to maintain communal harmony and peace in the state at any cost, which is very essential in present circumstances. While addressing the member’s president of association S. Jodh Singh Isher said that the conspiracy hatched by PDP with regard to transfer of land to Shrine Board shows their low thinking and anti-people policies, resulting loss of innocent lives. He said land was to be given for religious purpose ands was not any body’s personal Jagir and added PDP led by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed played dirty politics and gave rise to communal tendencies. He said, on fails to understand why PDP leaders play this part and clearly shows PDP’s links with militants. Referring to Governor N.N Vohra’s action, Isher said, he took hasty decision without consulting the members of Shrine Board. Chairman of the association Vijay Mangotra on the occasion said, it is very surprising, to see government yield before militants and conspiracy is totally communal in nature. He urged the govt. curbs this situation at any cost. |
