| PDP remembers July 13 martyrs, pay glorious tributes | | | Early Times Reporter

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Ms Mehbooba Mufti today paid glorious tributes to July 13 martyrs, reiterating that the day will always be remembered as a defining moment in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ms Mufti leading a five member's team Abdul Aziz Zargar, Tariq Hamid Qara, Pir Hussain and Ghulam Qadir Pardesi visited Mazar-e-Shouhda and offered special prayers for the martyrs.
Later the PDP president addressed a day long meeting of the party workers convened in commemoration of the July 13 Martyrs at party headquarter at emporium lane Srinagar.
Addressing the gathering, she said that in glorious recognition of these martyrs, on this day, PDP resolves to further its policy of understanding and reconciliation for the ultimate settlement of the Kashmir problem through a sustained and comprehensive dialogue process.
She added that her party from day one advocated the amicable settlement of the Kashmir issue through tangible J&K-specific pro-people confidence building measures involving all sections of the society on the other. On this occasion PDP leaders Abdul Aziz Zargar, Tariq Hamid Qara, Pir Hussian, Nizam-u-Din Bhat, Ghulam Qadir Pardesi and others addressed the gathering. |
