One person died, while other 23 persons were injured in different road accidents in Jammu.
A Matador bearing registeration number JK02U/ 2243 coming from Doda at Kistwar head on collusion with another vehicle coming from opposite directions near Mandir at Prem Nagar, Doda resulting on spot death of on passenger namely Ramesh Lal, son of Balkrishan, resident prabal Goha, Doda, who was traveling in the Matador. Dead body handed over to the relatives of the deceased.

A Tata Mobile without number, on way from Baggar to Chackwa rolled down near Thopal falling under the jurisdiction of Police station Batote, resulting injuries to eight passengers namely, Subash Kumar, son of Sh.Girdhari Lal, resident of Rbia Ram nagar; Sham Lal, son of Panjaboo Ram, Rattangarh Chenani; Sudesh Chand, son of Isher Dass; Om parkash, son of Krishan Lal; Kunj Lal, son of Isher Dass; Sham Lal, son of Munshi Ram all resident of Mathowa Chanani; Chatte Din, son of Altaf Din, resident of Chackwan Batote and Dara Singh, son of Madan Lal, resident of Ramban. Injured were reffered to hospital for treatment.
A Truck bearing registeration number Jk02T/ 1815 driven by driver Churched Ahmad, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Bandipura Shopian on way from Srinagar to Jammu met with an accident at Calwas National Highway falling under the juridictionof police station Chanderkote and truned truled on road side resulting injuries to driver and conductor namely Mohd Masqoor, son of Mohd Sadiq, resident of Budhal Rajouri, both injured shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Truck on way from Srinagar to Jammu hit a pedestrian namely Habibullah Malik, son of Mukhtiyar Malik, resident of Gander Koot at town Banihal, injured shifted to Banihal hospital for treatment.
Sanjay Kumar, son of Sandoor Lal and Kanya Lal, son of Tara Chand both residents of Jakhani RTA at Jakhani falling under the jurdication of Police station Udhampur, injured shifted to Udhampur hospital for treatment. |
