| Youth Congress appeals for maintaining peace, communal harmony | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 13 Youth Congress today said that no fundamental group or party will be allowed to spread communal hatred among various communities in the state. Addressing Pradesh Youth Congress Workers here today the senior youth leaders Shafagat Kocchar, Tinu and Amit Sawhney said, no body will be allowed to play with the sentiments of people in the state. They said, PDP and BJP showed their true colors of their fundamental ideology and added these parties have no policy sit at the time of elections divert the attention of public for their personal gains. They said these parties have no programme and policies for the welfare of common masses, but on the other hand put them to trouble. Referring to the achievements achieved during Azad’s regime they said Azad had tirelessly worked for the state’s development. The youth leaders also said the anti-social elements burnt up temporary sheds of Gujjars to spread communalism in the state. They appealed the people of the state don’t give any weight age to any remour, but keep peace and communal harmony at all level, which is the need of hour. Among others present on the occasion were Sarafaraz Wani, Arif Khokkar, Jugal Kishore, Beant Singh, Sher Zaman and Sudhir Jamwal. |
