Early Times Reporter Srinagar | July 13 Three pilgrims died of cardiac arrest on way to the holy Cave Shrine of Amarnath in South Kashmir taking the death toll during the ongoing two-month-long pilgrimage since its commencement to 49. The deceased have been identified as Satpaul Bali, 55, a resident of Punjab, Raja Ram, 70 and Ameet Prasad, 40, both the residents of Madhya Pradesh. Sources informed News Agency of Kashmir that with the deaths of three pilgrims, the number of pilgrims who lost their life on way to cave shrine since the commencement of the annual pilgrimage on June 17, has risen to 46. Besides this, a porter, a tea stall owner and a policeman have also lost their lives on the tracks. |
