| Police public meet held | | | Early Times Reporter

A police public meet was held here at Mahajan Hall today in which besides police officials; number of citizens of the area also participated .The aim of the meet was to maintain communal harmony and bring awareness among people. Speaking to the occasion SDPO Attul Sharma said that India is known for unity in diversity and this has proved by the people of the area. He said that when whole Jammu was burning on land dispute of SASB people of the area observed communal harmony besides laid stress on awareness .SHO Zamroodh Hussain laying stress on awareness said that Akhnoor area has always remained on the target of militancy.He also urged upon people to inform the police if they have suspicion of any person. He said that no police can successfully perform its duty without the help of the people. People of the area also appreciated the role of the police in tackling crime and maintaining peace in the area. |
