‘Guru Purnima’, homage to Gurus (teachers) will be celebrated at Haridwar by Swami Bal Yogeshwar Dass Ji Maharaj on July 18, with full religious fervor and gaiety.
As per a handout the day is celebrated in honour of guru’s who imparted knowledge to their pupils. Swami Ji has appealed people of Jammu to participate in Guru Pujan in large numbers. The main puja will be held at Punjab Sind Shetra, Haridwar where prominent Hindu priests of the country are expected to take part in the function. |
