| 229 crosses from Chakan-de-bagh | | | Early Times Reporter Poonch | June 14 At least 229 persons from both the sides of Jammu and Kashmir crossed the Line of Control (LoC) at Chakan-da-Bagh in Poonch district on Monday. Sources in the district administration told News Agency of Kashmir that 115 persons crossed over from Indian side to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). These included 45 Indian citizens who are going first time to visit their relatives living in PoK and 70 persons from across the border, who returned to home after visiting their relatives in various parts of the state. Similarly, 114 persons from across the border crossed into this side . Out of 114persons 60 persons from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) were visiting here to meet their relatives after a decade, while rest of them were returning back to home. The border Opens at 10.25AM and closed at 50.50 PM sources added. |
