DODA, Mar 17: As part of precaution against the spread of Coronavirus, District Administration Doda, under the supervision of deputy commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today made available hand washing facility outside DC office for the convenience of the visitors.
The aim of this initiative is to spread the awareness about the importance of frequent hand washing among the people for combating the threat of the novel virus.
Meanwhile, the DDC directed the PHE department and MC Doda to place this facility at other locations in the town as well as in adjoining areas for the general public.
President MC Doda, Ved Prakash Gupta and Technical Officer PHE department Fayaz Ahmed Mehta after visiting the town, informed the DDC that four locations .e Nehru Chowk, Bus stand Doda, Pul Doda and Nagri have been identified by the department whereat the same facility will be provided to the general public.
