Kranti Dal held a protest rally at Kachchi Chowani Chowk here under the leadership of Vikram Singh (Youth President) and Pritam Sharma (City President) against the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and torched his effigy.
As per a release, the governor has bowed his knees before the separatist’s forces on only after the 2nd day of his taking over the charge of the governor of the state. It is he (Governor) who returned the land diverted to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board by the state cabinet. By this act on his part has hurt the religious sentiments of the millions of Hindus of India especially of Jammu province, only to please the Separatist forces.
Protestors shouted slogans Governor GO BACK, Shrine Board Ki Zameen Wapas Karo, Kashiri Raj Nahein Chalega, Jammu Kashmir Ko Bachana Hey Vohra Ko Bagana Hey.
Kranti Dal strongly demanded immediate revocation of land cancellation order and removal of the controversial Governor N.N Vohra.
Kranti Dal further pledged and appealed all national forces especially the Hindu organization to remain united to take the current struggle to its logical conclusion, the release added. |
