Jammu | July 14
As political observer keenly watch the pro or anti Congress behaviour of two key parties which saw fall of Ghulam Nabi Azad Government last week, the National Conference is meeting tomorrow to decide about its support to the UPA government which is headed for a crucial floor test on July 22.
The National Conference has called a meeting of its core group in the summer capital Srinagar tomorrow to decide whether or not the party would support the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government during the trust vote in parliament.
"We have summoned a meeting of our party's core group to decide on our stand during the trust vote in favour of the Congress-led government in the Lok Sabha," Omar told reporters in Srinagar today.
The National Conference has two members in the Lok Sabha with Omar Abdullah and Abdul Rashid Shaheen representing Srinagar and Baramulla parliamentary constituencies, respectively.
The Peoples Democratic Party led by Mehbooba Mufti has already announced its support to the UPA government. Mehbooba Mufti represents the south Kashmir Anantnag constituency in the Lok Sabha.
