| Mangat inaugurates overhead water tank | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

To augment and improve water supply to Resham Ghar Colony, under the master plan phase II, an overhead tank of capacity one lakh gallon was inaugurated by Pandit Mangat Ram Sharma.
The minister of transport and Ladakh affairs was accompanied by minister PHE and irrigation, Qazi Mohd. Afzal.
Manmohan Choudhary Mayor JMC was also present on the occasion. Vijay Malhotra, Chairman Health and Sanitation, Balbir Singh Corporator, V.K. Puri HC and other staff was also present.
Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma said that work for water supply in J&K has been taken up into 40 to 50 tehsils.
He further said that in Jammu there are plans to build overhead tank in Patoli Mangotrian and Toph Sherkhanian.
