Jammu, Mar 27: All Jammu and Kashmir PC Youth state convenor Nirmal Kesar has expressed great concern over not getting ration to people of Tehsil majalta.
In a press release, Nirmal said that due to Corona virus the entire country is locked down and curfew like situation is everywhere. In this scenario to ensure that there is no shortage of ration for the people, the central government is arranging ration for the people to their houses so that no family remains without ration , besides that the ration has not been supplied to the people in the said tehsil. Kesar said that till date no ration dealer has been able to supply ration in Majalta tehsil, whatever was left in the ration store was distributed in panchayats of Majalta but that ration could not be completed even in a wards. When the ration dealer was asked the reason for not getting the ration, they said that no dealer of the Majalta has received the ration, due to non availability of TSO in the Majalta tehsil.
They have not got ration due to lack of TSO. The administration has also been ordered to provide ration to the school children under Mead Day Meal, but the children of Majalta have not yet received ration. |
