| Apsra Road traders hold demonstration against PDD | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | July 18
The Traders Association of Apsra road, Gandhi Nagar today held a protest rally against the power development department (PDD) which has failed to provide power to shopkeepers of the area.
As per a press release, protesters with hand-made fans in hands called on executive engineer PDD, Gandhi Nagar Jitender Sharma and apprised him about the problems being faced by them.
They urged upon him to replace defective transformer.
The BJP state president of Labor cell Indu Bushan Sharma who led the demonstration urged upon the PDD authorities that the needful in the regard be done soon, as customers avoid to do purchasing which effects business propects of all the shopkeepers.
The other members of the delegation who also met exec engineer were Vijay Sharma (R.K Videos), Shyamlal (Peter England), Pankaj Gupta (New Wear House), Ashok Verma (Jems & Jewellers), Sanjeev Goel (DCM), Vinod Gupta (Fashion Fab), Krishan Lal Gupta (Lotus Bawa), Manik Sharma (Dukes), Prashst Sharma (Videocon), Harvinder Singh (Priknit), Balwinder Arora (BK Traders), Sanjay Gupta and Rakesh Sharma. |
