| JKBP for exemption of state tax, VAT on LPG | | | Early Times Reporter

The Jammu and Kashmir Beopar Mandal (JKBM) members has demanded exemption of state tax and VAT on the sale of LPG gas, medicines, petrol and diesel as prices of these essentials have touched heights.
President of mandal Sumit Dimple in a meeting of members said, people of the state are suffering lot due to price hike as there is no check on prices. The concerned authorities are in a deep slumber and no there was action against black-markets.
Referring to power crisis, he said, Jammu people are facing severe problems in this regard and the administration is issuing statements and in practical doing nothing. He added same is the case with water supply. He urged upon the governor that steps be taken immediately so that people get some relief. |
