| Two militants killed | | |
Baramulla, Sep 6 Security forces killed two militants while ultras shot at and wounded an auto-rickshaw driver in this north Kashmir district since last evening, official sources said today.
Security forces shot a militant during an encounter at Check-e-Charatram village in Kunzar area early today.
Arms and ammunition were seized from the encounter site, the sources added.
In another encounter at Rajwara near Handwara in Kupwara district, security forces killed a militant.
The sources said unknown gunmen shot at and critically wounded an auto-rickshaw driver, Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, at Chankipora, Sopore in Baramulla district last evening.
Dar was immediately rushed to the sub-district hospital, Sopore, from where he was referred to the SMHS hospital in Srinagar.
