| INS flays attack on newspaper establishment | | | New Delhi | July 19
The Indian Newspaper Society (INS) has expressed anguish over the reports of attacks on the office of “Andhra Jyothi” by some miscreants recently. According to INS President Bahubali S. Shah such attack on newspaper establishments are a serious threat and violation to the Freedom of Press. He said INS have requested the govt of Andhra Pradesh to take appropriate measures and protect the employees and establishment of “Andhra Jyothi” and ensure that their action reflects their solidarity in safeguarding the fundamental right to freedom of expression and a free press. |
