JMC councilor of ward 12 in Bakshi Nagar and his brother have reportedly assaulted general Sec of Mohalla Welfare Committee Bakshi Nagar Raj Kuam Lallotra here at PHE office. Lalotra, in his report to the police has alleged that few days back he had gone to PHE office with a deputation to complain of scarcity of water and today he was summoned by the corporators of ward No 12 and 13 of Bakshi Nagar area at PHE office where corporator of ward 12 Vijay Malhotra and his younger brother Satish Malhotra alias Minta assaulted him after a hot discussion over the issue in presence of assistance executive engineer, junior assistant engineer an other staff.
He said that he was beaten ruthlessly without any reason. Whereas Minta has alleged that Raj Kumar had beaten him first. Bakshi Nagar Police has registered the case and it is reported that corporators of different areas had arrived in Police Station to pacify the matter. |
