New young blood organization, Jammu saved the precious life of a young girl aged 12 years by donating blood and getting her admitted in the Govt. medical College and Hospital, Jammu in emergency ward. Blood was donated by Balbir Singh, Vikas and others.
Ashok Verma, President said that the patient was denied admission in the hospital for treatment on the grounds the patient had 3 gram blood. But these organization acted swiftly to save the life of young girl by approaching the hospital, Bakshi Nagar and after great struggle the girl was got admitted in emergency ward on the evening of 7th July 2006, although the officials on duty tried to drag out the patient and the workers of organization donated the blood and saved the life of the young girl. On this a huge gathering of public assembled who lashed at the administration of hospital.
He further added that the apathies attitude of doctor on duty and his staff was quite in human towards the patient, in his address he appealed the Hon’ble Minister for Health, J&K to intervene, and issue appropriate directions to the concerned doctors while handling a poor innocent patient for admission to seek medical treatment, and further no poor patient should be denied admission in the hospital. He further appealed to the Hon’ble Minister for Health to take suitable action against the doctor and official.
