Nadda discusses ground situation amid Corona Lockdown with J&K BJP

JAMMU, Apr 5: Jagat Prakash Nadda, BJP National President, along with National General Secretaries Ram Madhav and Dr. Anil Jain interacted with BJP leaders from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Puducherry, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu in a Video Conferencing to discuss ground situation amid Corona Lockdown.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina and General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul apprised JP Nadda of the prevalent situation in the J&K UT due to Covid 19 (Corona) spread as well as various measures to counter its spread from party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J P Nadda, said that in this hour of crisis, all BJP activists are working wholeheartedly in the service of needy people. Their strength, patience, hard work and vitality are our strengths in the fight against Corona and we must continue to fight with Corona until we defeat Corona, he said and added that we have to make the use of masks a mass campaign, promote the habit of cleanliness and to spread awareness among the people about every aspect of prevention from Corona.
The National President said that we must follow and encourage others to follow the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to turn off the lights today April 5 at 9 pm and flash candles, torches and mobile flashlights for nine minutes to show our courage and solidarity against the darkness of Corona. He said that all of us have to donate extensively in the 'PM Cares Fund' so that the fight against Corona is not weakened.
Ravinder Raina and Ashok Kaul apprised the National President that around 40000 party workers have ensured relief supplies to more than 2 lakh local as well non-local needy persons in J&K. he said that BJP leaders are also cooperating local administration in the crucial hour. He told that party is encouraging and ensuring mass awareness, distribution of Dry Ration, community kitchens, mask & medicine distribution etc. to the needy persons.
Ladakh reporting was done by Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor Gyal P. Wangyal, Deputy Chairman LAHDC Leh Tsering Sangdup and Dorjay Angchuk. Reporting was also done by J&K BJP Vice-President Sofi Yusuf from Kashmir, Jammu Rural District President Rajinder Singh Chib, Udhampur District President Puran Chand and Srinagar District President Ashok Bhat.
