Jammu | July 20
Continuing with its public contact programme Socialistic Democratic Party today organized three public rallies in R.S .Pura Assembly constituency in Jammu.
While addressing these rallies, Surendra Bhagat the party candidate from RS Pura said that it was very unfortunate that despite the constituency being represented by the ministers has remained economically backward and unattended. He alleged that the former MLA created huge assets by looting the public money and did little for the development of the constituency.
Addressing the gathering the party chief Drakshan Indrabi said that frightened and scared by the growing popularity of SDP, are spreading canards and so much so link her with the Aasiya Indrabi the staunch supporter of the militants. ‘There is and can never be any relation with such a mindset, she said adding that I am proud to be a Dukhtar-e- Hind, the daughter of India.
She regretted that politicians are crying hoarse on human rights violations by the security forces but keep mum when such violations are committed by the militants. It was unfortunate that none of them has ever dared to boycott these elements and protest publicly against this type of brutal incidents, he remarked. Those who boast of issuing religious ‘futwas’ on every damn thing desist from even condemning such acts publicly, she said.
Expressing her deep anguish at the killing of Army Jawans and wounding of civilians at Narbal and Banihal by militants, Dr Andrabi said that the militant outfit that claimed the responsibility of the blasts has only defamed religion.
She demanded immediate withdrawal of police security of those who don’t accept the Constitution of the land adding that all those who spread separatism of any kind within the state, despite being elected to parliament and Assembly, should also be deprived of the security cover.
