Veteran Congress leaders are former Minister Mangat Ram Sharma has dared PDP and BJP leaders to prove the baseless and absurd charges against him otherwise desist from leveling wild allegations in utter frustration.
Reacting sharply to the utterance of PDP and BJP leaders Sharma said that while former party (PDP) is against the development of Jammu region, the later too is harming the interest of Jammu by restoring to frequent hartals for their politics ambitions which would remain limited day dreaming only.
Referring to the role of PDP, Sharma said that their statement is a vivid admission of the fact that their ministers played anti-Jammu role by creating hurdles in setting of a cement factory in the area of Bani- Shri Cement company had offered to set up cement factory in the area due to availability of lime stone, which would have generated Jobs for over 6000 youths, but for the role of PDP, it could not be established in this remote and backward area of Kathua district, he regretted.
He said that BJP wants to take political mileage by misleading and misrepresentation of facts but should not forget that it was reduced to one seat in the last elections and they can’t enhance their poll prospects by exploiting religions and emotive issues by restoring to frequent bandh calls which caused great set back to the economic interests of the region beside putting the pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji and Shri Amarnath Ji to great unconvinced. |
