| JURSEA condemns withdrawal of job offerings | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 20 The JURSEA has demanded abrogation of cancellation orders for the posts of sub inspectors and computer operators alleging that the decision was arbitrary and unreasonable. “These absurd and inordinate orders are unprecedented and will only increase unemployment. The state administration should initiate the recruitment process at the earliest so that the applicants who have applied for the said posts may not feel deserted, cheated and nauseated,” JURSEA said. As per a press release, state is already facing unemployment and is a victim of poverty and this clandestine withdrawal of employment opportunities has further deteriorated the situation. After having good education and skills when it comes to absorption in the state machinery, a number of obstacles and hurdles are created every now and then to distort and deform the recruitment process, it added. “In the interest of justice and fair play, JURSEA urges the state administration to clear its position on the said withdrawal with in a week’s time after the expiry of which we will decide a course of action which may probably begin with the agitation and protests against the state administration,” JURSEA warned. The state administration must follow the principle of publicity accountability and disclose the facts and circumstances under these impugned orders of which these impugned orders have been issued. The state administration must come out to the state the reasons for this nonsensical decision to take away bread from its citizens.
