Administrator, Principal GMC receive Support for Medicos and Health Workers

Jammu, Apr 8: In continuation of the relentless support towards Health and Essential Services Departments during the ongoing lockdown and COVID-19 Pandemic Conditions through various Associations, NGOs and Volunteers, this time, the Chamber of Traders Federation Jammu represented by Neeraj Anand, President of Federation and Sardar Attar Singh, C&F for Dabur India Ltd came forward with the provisioning of Juices and Beverages for Health Sector Workers of Jammu wherein they requested Administrator GMC & Associated Hospitals Jammu Amit Sharma for same. Accordingly, a consignment of almost 4000 Tetra Packings was received for Doctors and Health Teams working inside GMC Hospital Complex in the presence of Principal GMC Jammu Dr Sunanda Raina, Medical Superintendent GMCH Dr Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent SMGSH Dr Manoj Chalotra, Medical Superintendent CD Hospital Dr Rajeshwar and others.
Amit Sharma, Administrator Associated Hospitals Jammu expressed deep gratitude towards this goodwill gesture done towards Doctors, Para Medical Staff and All Health Workers who are working tirelessly in these tough conditions of COVID-19 Pandemic. Principal GMC Jammu mentioned that all the staff of GMCH and Associated Hospitals is highly motivated and providing best healthcare to the patients and shall continue to contribute towards best patient welfare inspite of ongoing tough times.
President Chamber of Traders Federation Jammu expressed that the efforts of all essential services department require due recognition and apart from today’s support to the Health Department, they have been doing similar gestures for J&K Police Department, Municipal workers and others who are providing best services 24x7 putting their lives at risk in these trying conditions and they assured that they shall also try possibilities to provide PPE Kits to Doctors and Para Medical Staff who are at maximum risk while directly dealing with Novel Corona Patients inside the Hospitals in the near future.
Amit Sharma mentioned that this special support flowing from all directions during these Corona Pandemic conditions definitely keeps the morale high amongst our essential service workers and gives them a vent to contribute with even more grit and resolve towards curing patients during present trying conditions at our Hospitals and alongside, at this occasion, he again hoped that the public shall keep following the basic mantra of “Social Distancing” which is an automatic remedy to get rid of this global pandemic at the earliest.
