MC Kishtwar installed disinfectant tunnel at District Hospital Kishtwar

kishtwar, Apr 8: In order to safeguard the people visiting to hospital and to prevent the infected persons from entering inside the District Hospital Kishtwar, Municipal Council Kishtwar today installed disinfectant tunnel for decontamination and sanitisation Kishtwar,s main Hospital.
Speaking to Early Times, President MC Kishtwar Raiz Ahmed Zarger said that District Hospital Kishtwar that falls under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar Municipal Council is the Center of attention for not only to District Administration— but to them as well since Kishtwar District Hospital is the only Hospital in the District that caters the whole population of Kishtwar District as well as parts of adjoining Doda District and Pangi area of Himachal Pradesh as such number of people are reaching the District Hospital Kishtwar for treatment and thus making it vulnerable to infection.
He said that though Kishtwar Municipal Council in collaboration with its counsellors carried out massive disinfection drive in all the areas of Kishtwar town — including District Hospital Kishtwar added that they feel to take extra preventive measures at District Hospital Kishtwar Sona’s to prevent the infection to enter this hospital which could otherwise proved to be disaster.
Zarger said that after coming to know about the installation of these disinfectant tunnels at few places in Srinagar, he immediately summoned Executive Officer MC Kishtwar Tariq Balwan and discuss the matter with him and also with some counsellors beside also conveyed to Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar— who according to President MC Kishtwar appreciated the suggestion as a result of which they today successfully manage to install one such unit at District Hospital Kishtwar which will be tomorrow hopefully inaugurated officially by DC Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara.
Raiz Ahmed Zarger further said that Kishtwar MC will install few more disinfectant tunnels at some key points including at Bus Stand added that if need arises, more such disinfectant tunnels will be installed wherever it was found necessary after proper deliberation with concern authorities.
He urged the people to encourage the frontline workers of Kishtwar Municipal Council who are real heroes fighting at the forefront of the crises while collecting garbage and its proper disposal. He urged the people to stay at home and keep their surroundings neat and clean.
Zarger also extended gratitude to its counsellors and all the staff members of Urban Local Bodies for working overnight during the ongoing crises aimed COVID 19 pandemic.
