Srinagar | July 21
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senior leader Abdul Aziz Zargar today said that the people of Jammu AND Kashmir, have suffered immense tragedies because of the Indo-Pak hostility and they could greatly gain from the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.
Addressing a day long session of workers convention after inaugurating PDP Tehsil office at Damahaal Hanjipora today, Zargar said that PDP’s agenda visualizes a space of dignity, opportunity and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the paradigm of friendship and cooperative relationship between India and Pakistan.
He added that the peace process has already created a notable impact as it has brought into focus the convergence of our interests rather than the everyday rivalries. Lashing out at National Conference, Zargar said that NC since its inception has relied on hollow sloganeering and never fulfilled what it promised.
Party district senior vice president Manzoor Ahmad Zargar and zonal president Khwaja Abdul Razak also addressed the convention.
