With a senior teacher, Prof Kuldeep Sharma as convenor, the University of Jammu has set-up a Sports Sub-Committee for admission to the Post Graduate and other Diploma courses of the teaching departments for the academic session 2008-09.
The committee set up by the Dean Academic Affairs (DAA) of the University of Jammu will be working under the guidance of Director Physical Education, Prof Lokesh Verma, Convenor, Committees for Assessment in Achievement Categories.
Other two members of the three-member Sports Sub-Committee are Dr Brij Baloria, incharge BPEd and MPEd and Ramesh Sharma, table tennis coach of the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Dean Academic Affairs has also set-up committees to assess the merit in NSS, Bharat Scouts and Guides, NCC, cultural and literary activities, SC/ST, physically handicapped and children of permanent employees of the university. |
