PDP received major jolt, 8 top leaders resigned

While all mainstream political parties in Kashmir valley are chalking out their strategies to strengthen vote bank, People Democratic Party (PDP) suffered toady major jolt when eight close associates of Muzaffar Hussain Beigh and executive members of PDP including Zonal President Baramulla and former two former Presidents and members of Municipal Committee Baramulla formally resigned from party alleging that dynasty rule of PDP has compelled them to revolt.
Addressing a public gathering at Sheeri, rebel Zonal President Ghulam Hussan Rather alleged that PDP dominated its dynasty rule and exploited all workers with dirty politics.
"We all have resigned from PDP because of its wrong polices and dynasty rule. We will show our support in upcoming polls," said former Zonal President Ghulam Hussan Rather.
Joined prominent contractor of Sheeri Barmaulla Nazir Ahmed Khan, the rebel group could develop a tough ground for PDP as Sheeri Narwave area is decisive as for as elections are concerned.
Nazir Ahmed Khan asked people support the group of leaders who he said will decide to join any party after public consent.
"We will decide our future course of action as per people's decision and will show the politicians who has been cheating us that we too have say," said Nazir Ahmed Khan.
However, Riyaz Ahmed Nagoo alleged that Muzaffar Hussain Beigh is responsible for land transfer to SASB and ramifications of the controversy.
Former Zonal president PDP Baramulla Ghulam Hassan Rather, Reyaz Ahmed Nagoo, ,Peerzada Jalaluddin , former presidents of Municipal Council Baramulla(MCB), Sardar Karan Singh Vice president MCB, Mohammed Yousf Dar member council , Himmat Singh , Shabir Hussain Khan member district part and Qazi Hakim ud din, Zonal sectary Baramulla..
Meanwhile Muzaffar Hussain Beigh said that the rebel leaders has already been expelled from party and will have no impact on party's vote bank in Baramulla.
