| School building dedicated | | | Early Times Reporter Leh | July 21 Constructed at a cost of Rs. 42 lacs, the building of Higher Secondary School Tangtse was dedicated to the people of Durbok block yesterday. Inaugurating the Higher Secondary School building by Executive Councilor, Education Mr. Tsering Norboo Lampa at a big function at Tharuk yesterday, appreciated the endeavors of the PWD Agency, Leh in completing the building. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Lampa said that the Hill Council is committed to provide qualitative education to the students and also to provide a better educational infrastructure. While appreciating the increasing roll in Residential School Tharuk, Mr. Lampa urged upon the benefit of the Residential School where free boarding and lodging is provided besides tuition is given in morning as well as in evening. Mr. Lampa also took stock of the functioning of Residential School at Tangtse and interacted with the students and teaching staffs. The Councilor Tangtse Mr. Dorjey Stanzin highlighted some of the demands of ht area while as Principal Higher Secondary School Tangtse gave a detailed activities and achievements of the school. |
