| JURSEA seeks removal of Dr. Wani | | ‘Allege discrepancy in selection of contractual lecturers’ | | Early Times Reporter

Criticizing the higher education department for its anti-Jammu policies, the JURSEA in an emergent meeting held under the chairmanship of its president Vikas Sharma has accused Director Colleges ND Wani of his non-serious attitude.
Alleging discrepancies in the selection criteria of contractual lecturers, Vikas said while in Kashmir there is no age bar for such appointments the same has been imposed in Jammu region. He wanted to know as to why the department is adopting anti Jammu policies and urged the Governor for removal of the Director colleges. He also charged Dr. Wani of withholding the merit list of the contractual lectures adding that the delay in making selections has adversely affected the functioning of the colleges. |
