| From Lal Qila to Lal Chowk | | Muslims’ Jatha to march to support Amarnath board | | Early Times Special Correspondent Jammu | July 21 After the Baldani Jatha of Hindu volunteers from various parts of the country, whose march to Jammu, to join the agitation against cancellation of allotment of land to SASB under blackmail and pressure from the secessionists and Islamic fundamentalists in Kashmir, was foiled by the authorities by detaining most of the volunteers at Lakhanpur, it is now the turn of a Jatha of Muslims taking march from Lal Qila Delhi to Lal Chowk Srinagar to hold demonstration against the state government's action in cancelling the land to SASB and in support of the agitation launched by Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti in Jammu demanding re-allotment of the land to SASB and recall of the state Governor N N vohra. A batch of 150 to 200 nationalist Muslims from outside the state will be launching their march from Lal Qila (Red Fort) Delhi to Lal Chowk Srinagar, pledging their support to the Hindus in their agitation over alleged government assault on their religious faith and surrender before the secessionists and religious fundamentalists in Kashmir, the Muslim Jatha will be also lodging their protest against terrorism unleashed by the secessionists and religious fundamentalists in Kashmir, supported by Pakistan and other anti India forces. The Jatha of Muslim volunteers, comprising some religious and social leaders of the community will commence their march from Red Fort Delhi early August and after halting at various places will reach Jammu from where it will go to Srinagar and hold demonstration at Lal Chowk there, little before the Independence Day August 15. A warm reception awaits the Jatha at Jammu, according to a RSS source whose blessed organization Rashtriyawadi Muslim Morcha is organizing the march. The earlier Balidani Jatha coming to Jammu was sponsored by the Shiv Sena and some other Hindu organizations, according to the source. Rashtriyawadi Muslim Morcha constituted by some renowned Muslim scholars, religious and social leaders of the community, having blessings and full support and assistance from the RSS, has been working in various parts of the country to propagate Islam in the real sense and to shelve the general impression of the community members by and large being sympathizers of the terrorists who indulge in killings of the innocent in the name of Islam. The organization has also set up its branches in Jammu as well as in Kashmir, where about 100 prominent Muslims have joined its ranks, according to a RSS source.
