| Militants kill surrendered militant, three family members | | | Early Times Reporter

A group of three HizbulMujahideen militants on late Wednesday night killed four members of the family of former special police officer and surrendered militant in Marmat area of Doda district.
The surrendered miltiant whose house was attacked by militants has been identified as Ghulam Hassan wani
According to police spokesman, "three HM militants attacked house of GhulamHassan Wani after 11 p.m and killed him, his wife ,daughter and nephewon the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Asima Begum wife of GhulamHassan Wani, Asia Bano d/o GhulamHassan wani and Touquir Ahmed son of Mohd Ayub .
His another son identified as Mohd Yasin was injured inthe attack.Police sources said that HM militants were unhappy with Wani for past several months as according to them he was working as informer for the security forces and passing on relevant information about the movement of miltiants.Meanwhile a massive search operationw as launched in the dense forest area of Marmat to nab the militants, the police said. |
