| Two minor girls raped | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 24 Police today registered cases against three youth for allegedly raping two minor girls in separate incidents in Udhampur and Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. A 15-year-old girl, who had gone to purchase some house hold items, was caught by the shopkeeper and allegedly raped inside the shop in Kathua last evening, police said. Girl along with family made a complaint to police, who booked the shopkeeper Nishu Kumar, they said, adding that he had gone underground after the incident. In another incident, two youth Bali Ram and Patoo Kumar kidnapped a 16-year-old girl in Baagan village in Udhampur district and later raped her early today, they said. She informed the police along with his family. Police has launched a hunt to trace the three accused in connection with cases, they said. |
