| Shifali earns foreign scholarship | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | JULY 8
Daughter of the soil, Shifali Jamwal is one of the 18 students form India who has obtained hundred percent scholarships from Govt. of Singapore to pursue for studies, Further for class 11th and 12th in Singapore. Beside this she has been short listed to go further for obtaining degree in Aeronautical and Space Engineering at the National University of Singapore. During the four year degree course she is being offered 100 percent scholarship, which includes boarding, lodging, tution fee, traveling and allowances up to $50 per month. According to their father, Brigadier R.S.Jamwal, Commander Sunjwan brigade since childhood Shifali has been brilliant in her studies. In matriculation exam she screened 94% marks, beside she participated in senior girls National Hockey Tournament, represented her district in swimming Championship, stood second in the International Children’s Art Competition. She also came first in Senior Girls 3000 meters and 800 meters race. Since her tender age she focused attitude in every thing.
