The state president of Samajwadi party (SP) Shiekh Abdulah has cautioned the state administration to keep strict vigil on the activists of anti-national elements. While addressing the media persons here today Shiekh said, the recent spate of militant activists at Banihal, Narbal, Thana Mandi, Baltal and Gulmarg etc places is a clear indication of slackness on the past of administration.
Referring to Sri Amarnath Shrine Board controversy, Rehman said, unfortunately this issue was blown up beyond proportion by the PDP- a coalition partner in the Govt. through it was Okayed by its own ministers in sheer violation a age old “Democratic Dharma” of collective responsibilities, just to grind their own axe with the sole objective creating vote bank in the valley through such provocative methods and tactics and added. Taking advantage of the whole unfortunate situation in the valley, some communal and disruptive elements let loose a de-information campaign in Jammu division inciting Communal frenzy with an eye on the coming general elections. Rehman expressed satisfaction that despite severe provocation by the PDP separatist Organizations in the valley and Communal and disruptive forces in Jammu, common masses did not lend an ear to them and situation remained peaceful, by and large, through it ended in the fall of Congress led Coalition Government. He said Samajwadi Party, is in favor of peaceful with all facilities and proper security to the pilgrims of the Shrine of Baba Amarnath Ji.
