| VOJ booked Director Local Bodies and Executive Officer NAC Katra in backdoor appointments | | |
Jammu, September, 06:- Vigilance Organization Jammu today registered a case against the then Director Local Bodies Mr. Mohinder Singh and Ravi Kumar I/C Executive Officer NAC Katra and others for making backdoor appointment in NAC Katra.
In the FIR it has been mentioned that the officer named above hatched a criminal conspiracy and made some illegal appointment in NAC Katra and thereby abused their official position. They have appointed relatives of officers of NAC Katra and others in violation of procedure laid down for the recruitment fixed by the Govt. By making theses illegal appointments thus extended pecuniary benefits to the beneficiaries, which amount to the criminal mis-conduct. Prima-facie a case under section 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) PC Act 2006 and 120-B RPC is made out and a case against these officers and others registered and investigation in the case is started.
