Terror and panic of a different kind has gripped Marrah area of Surankote tehsil of Poonch district.
Reports reveal that one Noor Hussian (38) was brutally injured when he was attacked by a bear in Marrah area of Surankote tehsil of Poonch district.
The person has been admitted to Surankote hospital. Villagers allege that the attack by Wild animals has become a routine activity in the area.
Locals allege wild life authorities do not provide the requisite monetary relief to the victims. A week back a person died when he was attacked by bear.
The locals point out that they are in a state of helplessness as Rs.7 Lakh penalty is imposed on anyone who kills bear. |
