At least three children drowned in two separate incidents across Kashmir valley.
Identified as Bilal Ahmad Wani 15, son of Mohammad Afzal, resident of Bakshi Pora Noorbagh Srinagar, drowned in to the river Jehlum at Bakshi Pora while bathing. Dead body is yet to be fished out.
According to reports, two boats capsized in Wular Lake near Ishtangoo Ghat Bandipora, Baramulla, resulting drowning of two girls namely Rubina 18, daughter of Abdul Khaliq Dar and Zareefa 35, daughter of Mohmmad Ramzan both the resident of Ishtangoo Bandipora, among them Rubina has been rescued and efforts are on to fish out the dead body of other girl. |
