| Dy. Commissioner reviews arrangements of Independence Day | | | Early Times Reporter
Kargil | July 25
In order to discuss and finalize the arrangement for celebration of Independence Day, on August 15, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner/ CEO, LAHDC, Satesh Nehru.
During the meeting, DC stressed upon the officers to start the preparation for the celebration of National event with great enthusiasm and with traditional gaiety and fervor. He said that as per the earlier practice the function would be held at Khree Sultan Cho Sports Stadium, Baroo-Kargil where the chief guest shall unfurl the national flag at 9AM followed by the march past and cultural programmes in which J&K Police, NCC and students of various educational institutions will take part.
The full dress rehearsal will be on August 13 which will be supervised by the DC. |
