| Crime Branch busts fake certificates scandal | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | July 27 Crime Branch has claimed to have busted fake certificate scandal in Kashmir Valley and has referred the case to the Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar. According to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch Kashmir that Parveiz Ahmad Qureshi S/o Aftab Ahmad r/o Kandi Sultanpora Baramulla has alleged that one Ghulam Hassan Bhat r/o Garind Naslapora Budgam has managed a fake certificate favouring one Ghulam Mohammad r/o Wahabpora Budgam and both these persons are involved in providing fake certificates to common people against monetary consideration. He said that enquiry conducted into the matter revealed that the complainant himself used to motivate innocent educated youth to pay huge sums on the assurance of arranging Government jobs for them. One such victim was above named Ghulam Mohammad, who had paid an amount of Rs. 53,000, for arranging Government job. Neither government job was arranged nor his money returned. The victim insisted Parveiz Ahmad Qureshi to repay his money who preferred a false complaint with Crime Branch alleging therein that the victims are involved in preparing/providing fake certificates. His deceitful tactics failed to harass the victims because of the efforts of Crime Branch which succeeded in exposing the real culprit namely Parveiz Ahmad Qureshi. The Crime Branch has submitted the case to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, the SSP said. |
