| Self help group engineers seak CM’s help | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | JULY 8 The J&K self group Association of the Engineers, has viewed with great concern that some members of the association are subletting their registration cards to private contractors on commission basis, have lowered the image of engineers in the association. President if the association Kuldeep Singh Jamwal in a press conference said it is very un- fortunate that few persons of the association are taking undue advantage and as such per lowered the image. He said as per allotted to self help group, but deptt concern are not obeying this order, but are allotting works to contractors of their choice, which have badly effected the self group. He further said that association will take serious action against those who indulge in illegal practices, beside they will be blacklisted. In the conference, Jamwal further said that the Chief Minister should convene a meeting of all the departments, to solve the problems being faced by self group. If immediate steps are not taken “we may be compel to come on roads” he said. Among others who were present in the conference were General Secretary Gurdeep Siangh, Vikas Vaid, Naresh Kumar etc.
