| Lawyers to suspend work till July 31 | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | July 28
Bar Association Jammu today decided to suspend the work till July 31, 2008 and the members of the BAJ will not appear in the Court during this period.
According to the General Secretary BAJ Adv Pawan Manni the decision was taken by the members while they were arrested and lodged in the District Police Lines, Jammu.
BAJ also condemned attitude of the administration in curbing the fundamental rights of the people by imposing curfew.
The BAJ has assured the people of Jammu that it is at the back of the Jammuties and would always fight for their cause.
In the meanwhile, the Secretary BAJ said that association is considering initiating appropriate criminal proceedings against the guilty officials who deliberately and maliciously outraged the religious feelings and showed disrespect to the body of martyr Vijay Kumar Dogra. JNF |
