| Wide spread agitation over land transfer matter of great concern: Kulwant | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 28
Dr. Kulwant Singh, convener, state forum for justice and human rights has expressed serious concern over the wide spread of agitation about the land transfer case of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, and also expressed profound shock over the death of Late. Kuldeep Kumar Dogra and aftermath of the last rites of the deceased and conduct of the police. He said on the ongoing agitation has crippled the life of the people due to imposition of curfew, breakdown of electricity and closure of shops and other institutions. Singh has condemned setting up of a high power commission of enquiry to enquire into the events leading to the agitation both in Kashmir and in Jammu and the losses suffered by the people. The persons arrested while paying tributes to Kuldeep Kumar Dogra, needed be released and curfew from peaceful areas be lifted without any delay. He also demanded immediate restoration of power supply to the people who are immediate restoration of power supply to the people who are immensely suffering due to long hours of the breakdown of electricity. Singh also expressed profound shock over the serial bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmadabad killing innocent persons, and has appealed to peace loving people of all the communities to unitedly face the challenge of disruptive forces. |
