Sadbhavana tour held

An educational cum motivation tour “Chirage-E-Aman” organized by White Knight Corps for children who hail from families in the insurgency affected areas of Naushera Sector.
The tour was flagged off by Lt Gen RK Karwal GOC, White Knight Corps from Nagrota today.
The GOC while speaking to the children asked them to spread the message of peace at all the places they visit and witness the rapid progress made by our country in the field of Information Technology, Industry and other spheres of economic development. A total of 20 children are being taken to Pune, Belgaum, Panjim, Nasik and Mumbai in the State of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa.
During the tour, the children will visit the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla and the Army Sports Institute in Pune. Thereafter these students will be taken to Belgaum, Panjim, Nasik and Mumbai where they will have the opportunity to interact with the Governor of Maharashtra and also visit the Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum and other places of historical interest.
