| Ex MLA’s effigy burnt | | | Early Times Reporter

An effigy of the ex MLA Shyam Lal was burnt here today. Hundreds of protestors gathered and tortured the effigy of the former MLA in order to lodge their protest. The protest was against the remarks of the MLA who in his statement said that Sadhus and the media is responsible for the present turmoil. Later addressing the gathering Mahant Rameshwar said that it was the seed sown by the previous government. He said that people elected their representatives for their welfare but MLAs from Jammu were remained the puppet of the Kashmiri leaders. He said not even one MLA came to support for Jammu people and alleged that they have no right to speak. |
