The Jammu and Kashmir police today busted a militant hideout in Bandipora district and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition. Acting on a specific information, police raided Mulkihama village in north Kashmir's Bandipora district and unearthed a hideout, a police spokesman said. He said the search of the hideout led to the recovery of a universal machine gun, an AK assault rifle, five magazines, 139 rounds, 25 pistol rounds, a grenade thrower and a grenade. However, no one was arrested during the operation, the spokesman added. |
